Pinus cembra

3 months old Swiss Pine seedlings
Origin:  Alps and Carpathian Mountains of central Europe
Germination: Seeds soaked for day in water then sown in a mixture of perlite, vermiculite and potting soil and placed outdoor in a temperature between 10-22 degrees and kept moist. Few seeds germinated readily but most took about 1-2 months to germinate.
