This seedling germinated from a seed after exactly one year. The brownish rounded seed coat is on the left side of the seed and resembles very much the seeds i bought as dacrydium araucarioides. Origin: New Caledonia Conservation status: Links: arkiverarepalmseeds |

sprouting seeds Origin: New Caledonia Conservation status: Germination: soaked seeds for one day in the water, placed them onto wet cotton pads changing the cotton pads daily. Seeds started sprouting after ca. 6 days. Then they were placed in the mixture of vermiculite, perlite and potting soil in a heated propagator at about 25°C. Out of 10 seeds 9 germinated. germinating seeds right from the envelope Origin: New Caledonia Conservation status: Germination: 7 seeds were germinating in the envelope already. 5 remaining seeds were soaked in water for 3 days and planted in the soil. 2 of them germinated in a month time. 2 months from sowing all seeds germinated.
