Araucaria nemorosa

Conservation status:
Germination: soaked seeds for one day in the water, placed them onto wet cotton pads changing the cotton pads daily. Seeds started opening after ca. 10 days. Then i placed them in the mixture of vermiculite, perlite and coco fibres. Out of 10 seeds 2 germinated (2 with 4 cotyledons, all purple).

Then i placed them in the mixture of vermiculite, perlite and coco fibres. Out of 10 seeds 6 germinated (6 with 4 cotyledons, 2 were purple and 4 green).

  Germination: cutting the 2 mm of the tip of the seed speeds up germination. Soaked seeds for one day and put in a mix of perlite, vermiculite and coco peat. Most seeds germinated between 10-20 days from sowing. Out of 31 seeds 28 germinated.
